Our prices are staying the same

Each year we are required to review our prices and make adjustments necessary to meet regulatory requirements. From 1 April 2019, the components of our pricing will change – but the prices customers pay stay the same.

What components are changing?

The components that make up our variable prices are changing. They’re made up of two components – the pass through and distribution prices.  The pass through price has decreased and the distribution price has increased. The increase is because we have invested more than ever before in our network, to improve reliability.
